Welcome Cosplayers! We will be offering several Cosplay-related events during Animethon. Please be sure to read and understand the outlines of each event given below. Our events are held between set times for scheduling reasons and no exceptions will be made for latecomers.

Cosplay Contest
Open to any Animethon attendee in cosplay!
*Ryu’s Chibi Parade kicks off the Cosplay Contest on Saturday at 4:00PM.

Please Note
- Make sure you are aware of contest times and locations. Latecomers will be disqualified.
- The Cosplay Repair Room will be located in Salon 7.
- Send us your images and music as soon as you can to keep us up to date.
- Arrive on time for the event.
- There is no safe place to put your things while you’re in a contest, so make sure any valuables are kept with a trusted friend.
Cosplay Contest
Our main event! Ryu’s Chibi Parade will take place first followed by our walk-on entrants and skit performances.
- Registration is online until July 31, 2026, or in person Friday 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in Salon 13/14.
- Cosplay check-in and pre-judging is on Saturday from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm in Salon 13/14.
- Pre-judging is optional but you must check-in in order to participate!
- The Cosplay dress rehearsal is in the Main Events (Hall D) and will run on Saturday from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
- Showtime is Saturday 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm in Main Events (Hall D)
- Open to anyone in Cosplay willing to go on stage!
Cosplay Craftsmanship Contest
This is a contest specifically for our talented craftsmen who have made their own Cosplay or props! There are no performances, no audience, just a friendly chat with our judges about how you made your Cosplay!
- You may register online until July 31, 2025 or in person on Sunday from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm in Salon 13/14
- Judging time is Sunday 10:00 am to 12:30 pm in Salon 13/14
- Awards to follow at 1:00 pm in Salon 13/14
- Open to those who have made 80% or more of their Cosplay
- No performance is required.
Cosplay Repair Room
The Cosplay Repair Room will have some emergency supplies for you to patch your cosplay up. Note that this is not where you “make” your costume, this is only a place for you to repair your costume. Located in Salon 7 on the meeting room level.
