Pre-registration and Registration FAQ Pre-registration  *Pick-up Instructions*

  • The event will adhere to all mandatory site and government guidelines at the time of the event. Masks and vaccinations are recommended for all attendees but not required at this time.
  • Please ensure the names of the ticket holders match the person who will be using each pass.
  • Bring ID (preferably photo) and your confirmation to pick up your pass.  For any questions or corrections, please contact registration@animethon.org.
All prices are in Canadian dollars; fees are not included and may apply.
Pre-Registration prices close Sunday July 31, 2022, 23:59:59.  Registration will remain open afterward with At Door pricing for Express Checkout through Sunday August 7, 2022, 15:00:00.

Special this year! The first 3000 pre-registrants will receive a special limited edition of Animethon x Crunchyroll drawstring bag. This will be available for pick up at badge pick-up.

Notes   Top

  • Limited quantity of X-Passes available.  Should X-Passes sell out in pre-registration, there will be no at-door sales.
  • Maid and Butler Cafe not included with admission.  Tickets must be purchased separately at the Animethon Merchandise booth. 
  • X-Pass front-of-the-line access is available only prior to the start of each event.
  • Passes are non-refundable and must be worn at all times during the event.
  • We are accepting cash in person at the event, however, credit and debit are preferred for safety reasons. Passes at the door will be limited.
  • If you need to transfer a pre-registered pass, or for any other questions or concerns, please contact registration@animethon.org by the Wednesday before the event. All passes are non-transferable once the event begins.
Event & Autograph Policy

For those of you who pre-registered and paid for passes, here's what to do next:

  • Either print out your confirmation email or have it available on a smartphone or tablet.
  • Come to the Reg Desk and bring your confirmation along with ID (1 piece of government/education-issued photo ID is preferred; 2 pieces non-photo ID accepted).
  • Wait in the Pre-Reg line at the Reg Desk and our friendly staff will check your details and get you your pass. There will be a separate line at the Reg Desk for those who pre-registered. Ask a staff member if you need directions.
  • Only the person whose name is on the pass may pick up and use a pass. Parent/Guardian ID can be used if the person using the pass is a minor/disabled, but that person must still be present.

Express Checkout  NEW  Top


For those paying with credit card, the pre-registration system will remain open after pre-registration closes on July 31, however the prices will be increased to the At Door prices.  This new Express Registration will remain open through the event (closing with Registration at 3pm August 7), and will allow people who are paying with credit card to register online and pick up their pass in the Pre-Registration and Express Checkout Line. 

The number of staff manning this line will be increased accordingly, so you are welcome to Express Register from the Reg Line, and then pop over to the Pre-Registration and Express Checkout Line to pick up your pass!  Pre-registration pick-up rules will apply to Express Checkout.
