May'n

May’n is a singer and solo artist from Nagoya, Japan.  Having made her major debut at the age of 15 in 2005, May’n proceeded to be cast as the singing voice of Sheryl Nome in the TV Anime “Macross F” in 2008, which brought her even more widespread attention.

Since then, she has been responsible for numerous tie-up songs for anime, movies, games, such as E.X. Troopers (game), Aria the Scarlet Ammo, Accel World, Restaurant to Another World (collaborative single with group Wake Up, Girls!), The Ancient Magus Bride, and many more.  In Japan she has performed at such venues as Nippon Budokan, Yokohama Arena, and since 2010 she has performed all over the world, including in the U.S., Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and more.

May’n is also the first Japanese artist to win the "WEIBO Account Festival in Japan" award of China's largest SNS "WEIBO" for three consecutive years, and the only Japanese artist to win the "ASIAN MUSIC FESTIVAL 2019" award held in Shenzhen, China, making her extremely popular in Asia. In recent years, she has expanded her field of activity to musicals, and has played heroine roles in "Ikiru", “Jack the Ripper”, “Fist of the North Star”, and more.  In 2022 May’n also became a part of the multimedia project D4DJ, voicing the role of Neo in the group Abyssmare.

May’n is an artist who continues to captivate fans both in Japan and overseas with her overwhelming singing voice that is not bound by any one genre, and her incredible vocal range.
