JUNNA

JUNNA is a singer and solo artist from Japan, born on November 2, 2000.

Along with “Mobile Suit Gundam” and “Neon Genesis Evangelion”, the “Macross” series is known as one of the 3 legendary robot anime franchise in Japan and around the world.

At the age of 14, she debuted as the singing role of Mikumo Guynemer, the ace vocalist of the singing unit “Walküre” in the TV Anime “Macross Delta”.  This made her the youngest vocalist to join the historic Macross Series, which has a 35-year history.  As part of her work with Macross, JUNNA has performed at such venues as Yokohama Arena, Makuhari Messe, and even overseas in Los Angeles and Shanghai.

Furthermore, she debuted as a solo artist in 2017.  Her 1st single “Here” released in November of the same year, and was used as the opening theme song for the TV anime “The Ancient Magus’ Bride”.  One the first day of the release, it dominated the first place among 10 content providers on major distribution sites.  The single has since been certified as a Gold Disc by the Recording Industry of Japan.

JUNNA has also provided theme songs for anime such as Lord of Vermillion, Kakegurui, Fena: Pirate Princess, Sabikui Bisco, and the second season of The Ancient Magus’ Bride and more.
